Cook Time:  7m

  • (1) Montchevre Goat Cheese Log (4 oz): Plain, Honey, or Fig & Olive Flavor
  • (4) Large Fresh Figs
  • (1 Cup) Raw Walnut Pieces
  • Honey (for drizzling)
  • Thyme (garnish)

  • Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

  • Roughly chop walnuts and arrange in a single layer onto a baking sheet.

  • Cut figs in half, length-wise, and place them on a separate baking sheet from the walnuts.

  • Once the oven is pre-heated, place the fig slices and walnut pieces in the oven on separate racks.

  • Allow the walnuts to toast for 5-7 minutes, checking every minute or so until golden brown and fragrant.

***Be careful not to burn them!

  • Remove the fig slices after 15-20 minutes, or when slightly softened.

  • Lift the figs onto plates and divide the Montchevre goat cheese among the figs. Drizzle a little honey over each one and sprinkle with toasted walnuts and thyme.

  • Enjoy while warm!
