We are excited to offer a limited selection of some of our best cheese in our online Cheese Shop! At Montchevre, cheese is made-to-order. Our philosophy of quality and freshness is at the heart of all we do. While we do our best to ensure accurate inventory in our Cheese Shop, the availability of your favorite items may be affected by factors such as sample orders or last-minute production changes. If we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified via the email address that you provide during checkout.

These Terms of Use will govern your use of our Website or any features of this site, including, but not limited to, online ordering, placing testimonials or requesting information (collectively, “Montchevre Website”). By using the Montchevre Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify, add or delete portions of these terms at any time by posting updated Terms of Use and/or an updated Privacy Policy on the Montchevre Website. Please check these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy frequently for updates. Any modifications, additions or deletions to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy shall be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Montchevre Website following the posting of updated Terms of Use or an updated Privacy Policy will mean that you agree to all changes and/or modifications.

The contents of are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, upload, transmit, display, prepare derivative works, publicly perform, sell, transfer, assign, license or use for commercial purposes any images, text, or other copyrighted material on the Montchevre Website without the prior written consent of Montchevre. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms of Use are reserved to Montchevre.

You agree to indemnify and hold Montchevre and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of any comments, photographs, material or other content you submit, post, transmit or otherwise make available through the Montchevre Website, your use of the Montchevre Website, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another.

Customer Service

Orders and Payments

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Customer Service hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific. currently only accepts payment via secure partnership with PayPal and Amazon. Montchevre does NOT collect or maintain private credit card information. Once you enter the payment portion of the checkout process you will be transferred to one of our secure payment gateways.

All prices are subject to change without notice. Online prices do not reflect the cost of delivery. We do not ship C.O.D. or outside of North America.

All cheese orders are packaged in insulated cartons containing ice packs to ensure quality standards for up to 48 hours. Items ordered together may not necessarily be shipped together.

Shipping and Delivery

In most cases, your order will be processed within 3 business days. However, may require more than 3 business days to process your order due to product availability.

Orders placed by 5 p.m. Pacific can be shipped from our facility the next business day as long as the items are on hand. Due to the perishable nature of our product and in order to preserve maximum freshness, orders placed after Wednesday’s cutoff time may not ship before the following Monday. We may choose to offer the option for you to request a Preferred Ship Date on your order; however, we may not be able to accommodate each request. In the event that we are unable to ship on your preferred ship date, we will attempt to notify you via phone or email to make arrangements. In the absence of a preferred ship date, your order will ship as described previously.

Please provide a street address for your order to be delivered to as our carriers cannot deliver to a PO Box or military APO address. If, for any reason, we are unable to ship to the address indicated via FedEx or UPS, we reserve the right to ship your order via the US Postal Service or other carrier at the carrier’s published rates.

Ground shipping (if allowed by our zip code proximity filter) does not offer guaranteed delivery dates, and for this reason we do not recommend it. If you select Ground shipping as an option, please be aware that the shipment temperature may be adversely affected (thus compromising the freshness and quality of your product) if delivery is not made within 48 hours of shipment. Also, a handling fee is added to ground orders due to special pickup notification required by FedEx. We reserve the right to refuse claims for spoiled product where Ground shipping was requested.

Our Commitment to Freshness

We strive to ensure all Montchevre products ship fresh. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. Claims must be filed within 24 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to ensure timely delivery, but we cannot be responsible for spoiled or compromised product due to the following:

  • Delayed deliveries due to weather or other “Acts of God”
  • Incorrect addresses (*Please be sure to include apartment, suite or floor numbers, as needed)
  • Unopened shipments (all boxes are clearly marked “Perishable”)
  • Ground shipments (see explanation in “Shipping and Delivery” section)
  • Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of perishables!

Montchevre respects your privacy and is committed to protecting and securely managing your personal information. When placing an order online with Montchevre, we may request personally identifiable information, such as your first and last name, physical address, telephone number or e-mail address in order to fulfill order requests. Montchevre does not sell, share, or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties.

Information automatically received and recorded on our server logs from your browser [including your IP address, cookies, and the page(s) you visited] is not considered personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify any individual.
