Fried Goat Cheese Croutons

  • 1 log Montchevre® Garlic and Herb Goat Cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying


  1. Create a dredging station by placing the flour, beaten egg, and panko into three separate bowls.
  2. Slice the goat cheese into half-inch rounds. Place each round into the flour and coat thoroughly, shaking off the excess.
  3. Then coat in the egg and let the excess drip off.
  4. Finally, gently roll each round into the panko, making sure to gently press the crumbs into the cheese.
  5. When all the cheese has been thoroughly breaded, place it into the freezer for 10 minutes to set.
